Stagsden '10' 18th July 2012 - League Round 6
This week's event is marginally different from the last two - it's based down the road from Astwood, and uses the Stagsden course (F5v/10A Stagsden - includes meeting point and course details). The start time is 7.15pm.
Entry - £2.50 (members), £3.00 (non-members).
Results
At least two riders got caught in the short but excessively heavy downpour en route to Stagsden. When they arrived, the others were all ensconced in cars sheltering from the rain. Anyway, further rain wasn't forthcoming during the event, fortunately. The outward leg was rendered quite tough by a stiff headwind - which either abated for Jason Gurney, or he was just damned strong. I favour the latter!
